In harmony with the child's nature.
We designed our Eculturo Approach so that it's in harmony with the child's psychological needs, natural learning processes, and drives. It is rooted in research in psychology, evolutionary psychology, anthropology, pedagogy, space design, and more. Our goal is to offer children a nurturing environment that is free from unnecessary stressors, such as grades, and that promotes both their well-being and development.
Inspiration-based.
Eculturo provides children with opportunities to explore and experience every field one can think of in the most inspiring way. Through designing inspiring experiences, we help children discover their interests and passions and reveal to them the magic of being.
A gateway to the outside world.
We believe that there should be no distinction between educational spaces and life itself. For this purpose, our space is not isolated from the world. Eculturo gives children access to universities, museums, professional tools, real adult activities, and more. Through engaging in real activities and projects, children at Eculturo build real-world skills that prepare them for their futures.
Empowering and mastery-oriented.
We create the conditions that allow children to fulfill their inborn drives for mastery and competence. We do this through providing them access to makerspaces, art ateliers, apprenticeships with experts, and guidance and support to achieve mastery in domains of their choice.
Compassionate and respectful.
The Eculturo Approach is based on a deep understanding of the emotional conditions under which children can thrive and develop into healthy, loving, and empathetic grownups. Here, we actively promote understanding and compassion towards the child. We regard children as "young humans" and respect them at all times.
Ever-evolving.
At Eculturo, we are constantly researching and designing to evolve our spaces. Through our Eculturo Design Lab, we aim to continue aligning our approach with what children need for their optimal development.
